My nursing final was yesterday and I am so happy to have it over with.
Right after we got done with the test we went out to lunch and treated ourselves to a much needed relaxing pedicure.

I have been home all week by myself, studying, while my family is enjoying October break at the cabin, in california or who knows where but they are not with me!

I miss my mom

I miss my permanent fixtures here to greet me every morning and share my oatmeal.

I miss looking for an after school snack every five minutes when the kids get home.

I miss seeing the bus lady and wondering if she thinks that I never get dressed.

I miss the noisy chaos that is normally my home.

I miss going to bed at night and hearing the girls coughing in the next room. (ok maybe not the coughing)

I miss boot camp (can we please start that again sista 6?)

and I am SICK and TIRED of studying,
but good news I have less than a month left of school!!!

Happy Birthday Savannah!!!!

I am so lucky that I only had to live three years without you!!

Here are just some of the reasons why she is so awesome:

She read out loud to me the whole Harry Potter series (with voices)

She plays the piano amazingly and lets me sit next to her and sing my heart out and pretend to play.

I can call or text her at any time for random info such as movie quotes

I always have somebody to match with :)

She is beautiful

She makes me laugh and I can talk to her for hours

She speaks French and is going to teach me some key phrases, so we can rock Paris this summer

She makes driving such an experience
(talking on phone, driving, picture, posing....probably why my eyes are so big, hahaha whoops)
She can make some bomb faces
(she maybe could be a face contortionist, i can prove it but we vowed to never show that picture!)
She is super smart

Sometimes she loses her head

She loves suishi and took me for some on my B-day

I spent this Spring break with up north with my family!
The whole way up north these are my thoughts, "Why the heck am I going to attempt to snowboard again?" You see, my first experience wasn't so great. It took me most of the day to get down the mountain one time, and after a headache, sore butt, getting the wind knocked out of me, a few tears and then taking off my snowboard and walking the rest of the way down, I vowed I would never be back. "why the heck am I trying this again?: And as you can see the beginnings of this trip weren't shaping up to be any better. Sorry Emme and Sutton, thanks for being my speed bumps!

But after some snowboarding school with my awesome classmates, I started to get the hang of it!
ps, Shelby its totally cool that we were the only adults trying to learn with about ten kids!!

Nursing girls- Alexa, Anna, Lindsay and Me

We call ourselves Addy's girls cause it is us four girls and our buddy Adam who are always together and Adam's nickname that we gave him 1st semester is Addy.

So I think just a couple of posts ago I was celebrating finally passing my finals. Now I am thinking what the heck, I am already back to studying day and night. Yep, school has officially resumed, the first week I was still in holiday mode and not too into sitting and listening to lecture for hours on end. But the school mode finally kicked in this week or maybe it was the fact that they gave us two tests the second week of school. I am already up to my ears in 3by5 cards and my brain feels stuffed too full. I am hoping that this semester is a little lighter than last but im not sure that is looking too hopeful after the lectures that keep coming my way. And could someone please tell my teachers that if they plan on handing me five packets of powerpoints for one lecture and that they plan on standing up there and reading the packets as fast as they can to get through it all, That I can read and if you arent going to tell me anything that I can't read on your thousands of papers I would prefer to do it at home in my bed. Curse powerpoints. See you all in May!

So my Birthday was Dec. 30th, a little late on the posting I know! I turned the big 23! I don't feel that old but oh well. I spent the day surrounded by my most favorite people in the whole world. My mom and sisters took me out for a wonderful breakfast at Paradise Bakery and for some reason we forgot to take pictures. Then I had a party at the park, complete with cupcakes, ice cream, princess hat, and the cutest kids ever! What else could a girl want??

Then my friends took me out for dinner and we had great time, let me tell you!

I can't believe it is already October 14th! Happy Birthday Mallory and Navy!! I apologize to all of you avid Briley blog readers, I have been crazy busy with school and my camera seems to be MIA at the moment. The good news is that I am almost finished with school, just a few more weeks and I will be test free!! This semester is kicking my butt, no worries though I am fully prepared to kick some final trash!! I just wanted to say that I am still alive, and post something so Steph and Nan can stop getting freaked out everytime they see the fake arm. So goodbye again I am off to write a forever long care plan! See you all in November!

School has been crazy! Its so much info to absorb and not enough time! We learned how to start IVs last week aaaahhh. So we practice on a fake arm and then they put us in the hospital and say go ahead start an IV on the poor pregnant lady who is having contractions. Go ahead and stick her and see how she likes the added pain go ahead. haha ya right. Im nervous. So I would like to apologize to my first patient, I will do my best, no worries I got it on the fake arm around the 3rd try! :) So if you are thinking about having a baby this saturday and you see me come into your room, no worries I have done this before!!!!

School has been really crazy Ive never studied so much in my life and I still feel behind, probably cause I am blogging haha. oh well. Although it is hard, I am absolutely loving it, this past weekend I got to assist in the births of three babies! It was so amazing, I loved being a part of each family for a short time and help in making the experience wonderful. Its amazing the connection you can feel to a perfect stranger when they let you into their life and you are holding their hand helping them bring their child into this world.

Happy Birthday Today to my sister Natalie!

My sister Nan is one of the most talented people I know and I have always looked up to her so much!

Ten Reasons why my sister is so freakin awesome!

1. She is so TALENTED in DECORATING, I am awaiting the day that her home is in magazines, I seriously don't know where her talent comes from!

2. She is the most GIVING person and would give you the shirt off her back, if being topless wasn't totally embarrassing!

3. She has an amazing ability to turn a piece of junk from a garage sale into a TIMELESS BEAUTIFUL piece. I love to go along and see what she is going to bring home!

4. She is a wonderful COOK, and to prove that she recently won a bake off !

5. She does HAIR, she is the reason I went to beauty school and she still continues to teach me all she knows. No one does hair like she does!

6. She loves nature and FLOWERS, her house had fresh flowers in every room when I went to visit her! I love when she calls and tells me how beautiful and big the flowers are getting

7. She loves to SCARE people and laughs so hard that she almost pees her pants, BUT she is the most easiest person in the world to scare and she hates it! haha

8. She is just so FUN to be with and is such a GREAT PERSON, I am going to call her INSPIRING cause every time I am with her I get inspired to try new things, or to look at something differently!

9. She makes JEWELRY, actually she can MAKE ANYTHING, it always amazes me the cool stuff she comes up with.

10. She is a GREAT SISTER, a WONDERFUL MOTHER and WIFE, she is BEAUTIFULand has the most beautiful skin and the cutest feet, (just some of the many things I envy about her!) and she is one of MY BEST FRIENDS!

Oh what do we do in the summertime, when we are bored out of our minds and need to get out of the house?? Well if you are anything like us then you will be at Target walking aimlessly around hour upon hour, not buying anything we really need just enjoying the wonder that is Target!!
It always starts off with some awesome pizza and pretzels, I am sure the other people in the food area enjoyed the massive company of kiddos!

Target marked their items 75% off!! She was overjoyed and went a little crazy!!

This is the mystery guest that did not come with us to Target but we saw him there! He didn't want to be seen!

It was a great day at Target! Thanks to my mom and sisters my best friends who make anything we do fun! I could sit in a dumpster with them and still have the best time ever. Ok that would be gross but you get the message!

For our family vacation we got to go to Newport Beach! yay! It was such a blast! Most of the fam was there but we really missed those who couldn't come! Here are some fun pics of the things we did! I am sure that a lot of you think you have a friend who is really a great friend. You are wrong! I have the best friend ever, her name is Brittany but I like to call her Boofer, Boof Dizzle, Boofy, Boof and Boofer Smoofer ok I really don't call her any of those just boofer. This girl is amazing, I have never met anyone more giving of herself! She is always there for me in everything that I do! So as she was sitting here making my blog for me last night looking for pics of me (like an awesome friend would do) she says to me,"do you have any cute pics of me?". I didn't answer her, but thought to myself "oh boy do I!" So here are just some of the many hott pics of my friend Boofer (including the photo shoot that I took of her last night!)

I decided that I hate being left out of things, so here I am, my first post. I have actually tried to start a blog a couple of times and everytime I got to the first part where you have to put in a title I would sit there for about ten minutes and then give up. Then Britt came over tonight and I was telling her that I need to start this. We decided that if I would curl her hair she would start my blog up for me.With Britt on the computer and me behind her, curling iron in hand this is what we came up with. So here it is, just the beginning we will see how it turns out. Britts hair turned out freaking hot just to let you know. I will post pictures of the photo shoot we are about to do! Enjoy!
